Local Brigades

Fire brigades serve their communities, are drawn from their communities and reflect their communities. The local government reforms of 1989 meant that the role of our fire brigades as the lifeblood of our communities became even more important. In so many cases it now is the fire brigade that is the focal point of a community representing the ideals of that community while maintaining the safety of the community.
