133rd Annual UFBA Conference
The 133rd Annual UFBA Conference will be hosted by the Southland Fire Brigades in Invercargill and will run 25 - 27 November 2011. The conference will be held at the Ascot Park Hotel, Invercargill.
Information about registration, flights, accommodation, delegate nominations and elections was sent to brigades on 1 July 2011. Copies of all the information sent out is available for download at the bottom of this page.
Forms that were sent to brigades are as follows:
- Nomination for Board - Pink
- Nomination for Vice President - Green
- Nomination for Technical Panel - Yellow
- Delegate Nomination Form - Blue
- Notice of Remit - Grey
Registration is now closed. UFBA Delegate Nomination Forms were due back to the UFBA office by 25 October, and registration closed at 4 PM on 28 October.
Gold Star Dinner
There is no Gold Star Dinner at this years' conference.
The UFBA has received three remits. Official documentation and instructions for voting on these remits will be posted to brigades by the end of October. Click here to preview the remits.
UFBA Conference Elections / Brigade Packs
Brigade packs were sent out on Tuesday 25 October. If you have not received yours by Monday 31 October or, if you have any questions about Elections, Nominations or Remits, please contact our Operations Manager, Jane.
New Zealand General Election
The Government announced on February 2 2011 that the next General Election will be held on Saturday 26 November 2011. Information on casting special votes can be found HERE. If you do not cast a special vote prior to attending conference, there will be a polling station at the Ascot Community School which is approximately 500m from the Conference venue and you will need to vote during the lunch break on Saturday.
