Host an Event

Expressions of Interest for 2012 Events are now open!

We would like to hear from you if your Brigade or Association is interested in hosting one or a few of the following events:

Regional Road Crash Rescue Challenges – to be held from November 2011 onwards
Combined Region 1 & 2 (North Island)
Combined Region 3 & 4 (South Island)
National Road Crash Rescue Challenge – to be held sometime between February and April 2012
National Drivers Challenge – to be held anytime between March and October
North Island Firefighter Combat Challenge
South Island Firefighter Combat Challenge
National Firefighter Combat Challenge – preferred date is September / October

Expressions of Interest for the above Challenges will close on 31 May 2011.

National Conferences

The UFBA is now calling for Expressions of Interest from Brigades and / or Provincial Associations wishing to host the 2012, 2013 & 2014 National Conference.

What does the UFBA do for a Challenge or Conference? We...

Create and distribute all communications relating to the event
Administer the registration for the event and associated functions
Organise the content and programme for the event
Arrange and manage accommodation and air travel for competitors, delegates and officials where the event is fully funded by the UFBA
Provide support and input where necessary for the local organising committee
Organise all official components of the events (prize giving, learning symposiums etc...)
Appoint and manage the Officials for all challenges
Act as liaison between the organising committee and the UFBA Board
Arrange equipment required for a Challenge in conjunction with the National Challenges Committee, UFBA Technical Panel and local organising committee

To register your interest for any of these events you will need to submit a proposal to the UFBA. The information documents are available for download below (you'll need to be logged into the site to access them) and should be submitted to events@ufba.org.nz.
