Drivers Challenge
The National Drivers Challenge takes place on an annual basis, with the location alternating between Ruapuna and Feilding. Participation has steadily increased since the UFBA introduced the event in 2004. More than 50 brigade drivers from around the country are expected to compete this year.
The Technical Panel undertakes a review of the Drivers Challenge Rules every year. The most current version of the rules for the event are available for download below.

The United Fire Brigades’ Association together with the Mid Canterbury Fire Brigades’ Sub Association regret to advise that this year’s National Drivers has been postponed until 2011 due to the current situation in Christchurch.
2009 UFBA National Drivers Challenge
Forty-eight drivers competed in the 2009 National Drivers Challenge, hosted by the Feilding Volunteer Fire Brigade.
