UFBA Challenges
The UFBA runs a full schedule of challenges aimed at helping firefighters hone their skills in a competitive environment. Check out the upcoming events below.
If you are hosting an event and you wish to borrow UFBA equipment, please complete the Equipment Request form in the downloads section below and return it to the events team.
Officials
All Challenges have a requirement for Officials. If you are interested in being on the UFBA database for the 2011 / 2012 challenge calendar, please complete the online application form which can be found HERE.
In the interests of promoting Challenges on a long-term basis, preference will be given to those that are currently active and enrolled members of a brigade.
UFBA appointed Officials are covered for the following: Accommodation, travel and meals during the Challenge. Confirmation of entitlements will be included in your appointment letter.
Helpers are sourced from the Local Organising Committee and are funded on an event-by-event basis depending on requirements.

2012 National Road Crash Rescue Challenge
The 2012 National Road Crash Rescue Challenge is scheduled to be held February 17 - 19 and will be hosted by the Queenstown Volunteer Fire Brigade.

Hokitika has been confirmed as the venue for the 2011 UFBA Region 3 Waterway Challenge, taking place on 13 February.
2011 UFBA Region 4 Waterway Challenge
Oamaru is the confirmed venue for the 2011 UFBA Region 4 Waterway Challenge, scheduled to take place on 5th February.
