2009 UFBA Region 3 & 4 RCR Challenge Results
23rd June 2010"One of the Best RCR Challenges I've been to," was a common comment from officials and teams attending the event. That's thanks to the hard work and organisation of the Cromwell Volunteer Fire Brigade, led by Dave Bolch, Euan Hildyard, and Rob Dixon. The officials, once again, moved through the events efficiently and really made the day go well. It was also great to see so many teams, old and new, coming along to compete.
In Region 3, Rolleston's new RCR team took first place overall; Blenheim placed second; and Kirwee (also a first-time team) finished in third place. Michael Field of Blenheim earned best team leader and Dean Shuttleworth of Rolleston finished first in the team medic category.
In Region 4, Milton won first place overall, followed by Balclutha in second and the hosting Cromwell Brigade in third. Balclutha's Robbie Allen also earned first place in the team medic category. Best team leader went to Brian Cowie of Milton.
