Little River Volunteer Fire Brigade Celebrates 40 Years
27th July 2010The Little River Volunteer Fire Brigade is celebrating its 40th Anniversary in October this year and is keen to contact former members who would like to celebrate with us. The celebrations will take place at the Little River Community Centre on the 8th, 9th and 10th October 2010.
On the Friday at 6.00pm, there will be a social get-together for past and present brigade members - a great opportunity to share memories and catch up with old acquaintances.
On Saturday, 9th October from 10.00am to 3.00pm, there will be an open day at the Little River Domain featuring displays from the Brigade and other services such as the Police, Civil Defence and The Little River Emergency Services Cadets.
In the evening, there will be a sit down dinner in the Community Hall. This is open to past and present brigade members, their partners and members of the public. To reserve tickets for the dinner at $45 per person please contact Pam Baird on 03 3251917.
