Plans for New and Renovated Fire Stations
8th July 2010The NZFS has in place a staged process for the upgrading of NZFS fire stations – usually by either the erection of a new building or the renovation of an existing station.
In some instances the brigades involved have been presented with NZFS plans for these stations which provide a facility of lesser standard (size, quality) than currently exists.
UFBA has volunteered to assist member brigades in these situations to negotiate with NZFS. Brigades requiring advice are invited to contact the UFBA.
