...controlling the fire between your ears”
We are excited to announce the keynote speaker for the UFBA Conference - Dr Tom Mulholland.
Senior Medical Officer for the Department of Emergency Medicine, Auckland City Hospital and Honorary Lecturer in Psychological Medicine at the University of Auckland - Tom really is a keynote speaker with a difference.
Tom is a surfer with a passion for adventure and helping people. He was awarded a NZ Defence Service Medal for his work in the Boxing Day Tsunami; has survived being hit by another Tsunami; been stabbed in a home invasion and had a number of setbacks he has used to develop tools to make the most out of life.
Founder of the Healthy Thinking Institute, he has written two internationally best-selling books, hosted his own national TV and radio talk shows and has presented globally to clients including Google, Microsoft and Audi.
Tom will be presenting at the UFBA Conference in Tauranga 31 October – 2 November, so don’t miss out! Come and develop your ‘healthy thinking’.
Be entertained and educated on how to manage your emotions and change your attitudes to firefighting. Learn about a new tool called the Healthy Thinking system and how to apply it within your brigade.
Every brigade is entitled to have one delegate fully funded to the Conference, so make sure your place is used. We’ve got a packed schedule of events, workshops and social functions and we look forward to welcoming as many of you as possible.
