UFBA celebrates International Women's Day 2021

Issue date:
For International Women's Day 2021 we acknowledge the incredible women that make up 19.5% of the Fire and Emergency service.

We can all choose to challenge and call out gender bias and inequality. We can all choose to seek out and celebrate women's achievements. Collectively, we can all help create an inclusive world.

From challenge comes change, so let's all choose to challenge and build upon that 19.5% so that women are no longer a minority. With inspiration and encouragement, we can one day look forward to a higher percentage with more equitable participation.
