New process for service honours applications

At the UFBA Board meeting held in late June, the Board confirmed a change in policy regarding the processing of UFBA service honours applications.  The new process is as follows:

  1. Brigades must forward their applications for UFBA service honours to our Service Honours Administrator no less than two months prior to the scheduled presentation date.
  2. A confirmation of receipt advice and invoice for costs associated with the order will be emailed/posted by UFBA to the Brigade Secretary shortly after the order is received.
  3. Once full payment of the invoice is received, the Brigade order will be sent to the UFBA service honours supplier.  (No part of the order will be sent to the Brigade until this payment is received.)
  4. On receipt of the order from UFBA, our service honours supplier will forward the awards direct to the address specified by the Brigade.
