Secretaries and Treasurers Workshops confirmed

* The Christchurch Workshop in August is now full and we are still taking names of those interested for the next round of workshops.
^ Due to the number of registered attendees, we have been forced to come to a decision to postpone the UFBA Secretary and Treasurer Workshop originally intended to be held in Greymouth on Saturday 27 October.
Despite a huge amount of work done by various members of Brigades in the West Coast area to push the Workshop, unfortunately only eight people have registered. In order to maximise the benefits of the Workshop and keep costs to a minimum, we will need to do more work to continue to drive the numbers up closer to 15-20 to make the Workshop a viable and valuable project for both the UFBA and your Brigades.
We are conscious that there are some very keen and passionate Brigade members that are excited for the Workshops and we would like to remind you that this is only the first round. We are endeavouring to hold future Workshops in the hope to eventually reach all areas of the country. We apologise for any inconvenience this postponement may have caused.
These not-to-be-missed free workshops will provide brigade secretaries and treasurers with essential information and tips to make their jobs easier, while offering valuable networking opportunities.
Spaces are limited and will be allocated on a first in, first served basis, and those who have already registered their interest via the UFBA website will be given first priority.
To register, email Kirsten Spierling at Kirsten@ufba.org.nz with your name, brigade, and the location of the workshop you wish to attend.
If you have already registered your interest via the website, you will still need to send an email to Kirsten to lock in your spot. You should already have received an email requesting confirmation of your attendance.
Additional dates and venues will be announced via the UFBA website and newsletter as they are confirmed. The above Workshops are just the first round. If you do not see a Workshop in your area for this round, be assured that we are endeavouring to reach as many Brigades as we can and we keep this in mind for future workshops. For the next round of workshops, please register your interest here.

Will there be any workshops south of Christchurch, I.e. Dunedin or/and Invercargill.

Hi Lou,
This is just the first round of workshops and we intend to run more over the next 12 or so months.
If you have not already done so, please register your interest HERE. You will be notified by email in due course when dates and venues are confirmed for an area near you.
