Venue change for 2022 North Island Firefighter Combat Challenge
The Events Team and Challenge Panel are so excited and hard at work organising the 2022 Challenge season!
Our aim for the coming Challenge season is to normalise and minimise disruption for members as much as we are able to. The uncertainty and longevity of the COVID-19 Delta virus means we need to make decisions months in advance to avoid logistical and financial implications.
To this end we have made the difficult decision to move the venue for the 2022 North Island Firefighter Combat Challenge from Auckland to Palmerston North.
The dates will remain the same, being Friday 8th to Saturday 9th April 2022.
We know Auckland was planning on hosting an outstanding event, with local helpers and officials eager to get involved, so we have committed to hold the 2023 Combat Challenge in Auckland!
