NZFBI Associate Diploma Exam

The Associate examinations draw on a wide range of knowledge and on specific activities relevant to urban, rural and operational support firefighters operating with over three years of experience, and to demonstrate the ability to use this knowledge in evaluating and implementing tactics in live situations.

The NZFBI has compiled the resources below to assist candidates in their preparation to sit the NZFBI Associate Diploma exam.

The Associate Membership qualification are two two-hour written exams you are able to sit once you have completed two years of eligible service. The two examinations that can be conducted are:
• Associate Examination A: On station
• Associate Examination B: Operations

If you wish to take part in this year's exam, please complete the exam application form and return it to UFBA by 4 August.
