Update November - Remit 2 passed
Thank you to all delegates at the UFBA AGM who voted to pass Remit 2. This allows for the adoption of an entirely new Constitution, forming the foundation upon which to formally merge. The new constitution includes detail to accommodate legislation changes under the Incorporated Societies Act and Charities Act coming into effect next year. This was a monumental moment in the history of the UFBA and allows our Association to evolve to remain a modern robust organisation.
As we look to formally progress the merger with Forest and Rural Fire Associaiton NZ (FRFANZ) over the coming months, be sure to follow us on Facebook or register your details on our website to keep up to date.
