Due to the UFBA South Island Firefighter Combat Challenge being cancelled last weekend, we have opened the 2019 Think Water Firefighter Challenge to the whole South Island. All of the competitors to be on site by 10am for an earlier start time. We look forward to this opportunity to give as many new competitors their first taste of this challenge before they experience the UFBA National’s.

The intended format for the day is as follows:
• West Coast Tandem Seeding
• Visiting Tandem Seeding
• West Coast Relay Seeding
• West Coast Tandem Final
• Visiting Tandem Final (May be Seeded – TBC)
• West Coast Individuals

• Very Short Lunch Break for Officials
• West Coast Individual Top 10 Final for Medal Honours
• Visiting Individual (May be Seeded – TBC)
• West Coast Relay Finals mixed with Visiting Relay Finals (May be Seeded - TBC)
• Nelson/Marlborough v’s Otago Southland Team Race

We must remind all competitors that this Challenge is run using the Canterbury Challenge Equipment under the UFBA Rules, so the tower will only be 3 flights high, and only one competitor will be allowed to operate on the tower for Relay Events.
Also if any competitors are only interested in running in any of the disciplines once only, then please indicated this when registering.  This will determine how many races we can accommodate.
