Road Crash Rescue Cancellation

In March we opened registrations for the 2023 UFBA Road Crash Rescue on our website and advertised through our social media, database and networks.

Over the last few weeks, the Events Team have contacted all past competitors, from 2018 onwards, to encourage registrations. It is clear from these calls that we will not make minimum numbers required to justify the large financial commitment.

It’s apparent that we’re still feeling the impacts of covid, there are increased commitments on brigades from recent weather events and increased community need, coupled with the inability to get six people together to train has resulted in low registration numbers.

The UFBA has made the decision to cancel our 2023 Road Crash Rescue Challenge that was planned for the 15 to 17 June in Feilding. We have had to make this decision now before large non-refundable deposits are paid, and significant logistics and resources are put in place that are not easily reversed.
