Membership Advisory Panel
Members can raise matters for consideration directly with their elected representatives through the Membership Advisory Panel (MAP).
The MAP can influence strategic direction of the UFBA by raising issues of importance to members with the Board. In our role as sector advocates we need to know what you think of changes, proposals or practices that impact the way you work. With our networks and ability to gather information we can influence positive change with the direct decision makers at Fire and Emergency and government.
The UFBA Membership Advisory Panel gives an active role for elected Officers and other additional co-opted members to act as representatives from the UFBA Membership. Acting as a liaison between the Board, Management and Membership they can offer a first point of reference for consultation, a sounding board for recommendations, and allow Membership to raise issues for consideration or consultation by the Association.
