Applications Open for UFBA Board Internship Position

In 2024, the UFBA Board launched the Board Internship programme.   

The Board has decided to once again identify and develop future leaders within the membership and potentially support the succession of the Board of Directors. 

Successful candidates will observe and learn about governance in a not-for-profit organisation. They will have strong aspirations to become a UFBA Board Director and be part of the success of New Zealand’s largest association for Firefighters.

The UFBA Board wishes to continue its kaupapa of encouraging members to gain more experience in governance and help shape the UFBA membership experience and the future of emergency services in New Zealand.
