Changes to UFBA Board Directors
Kia ora members
Due to other commitments, I regret to inform you that appointed Director, Jacqui Apiata-Coyne has stepped down from the UFBA Board.
Jacqui has been invaluable to the Board, providing a broader perspective on cultural matters, risk management advice and supporting our kaupapa to enhance our Association.
On behalf of the UFBA Board, staff and members, I wish to thank Jacqui for her contribution and wish her and her whānau all the best. It has been a pleasure working with you Jacqui and I look forward to meeting again when I next visit Te Tai Tokerau. Ngā mihi nui ki a koe.
As Jacqui was an appointed Director, the Board has invited Kevin Ihaka to return to the Board. As many of you know, Kevin brings a wealth of sector-knowledge, and is well experienced in governance matters and working with our membership.
I am pleased to advise that Kevin has accepted this role and he will be joining our next Board meeting later this month to be officially appointed.
Ngā mihi
Peter Dunne
Chair
