UFBA Challenge Panel Vacancy - Two Positions

We are pleased to advise members that there are two vacancies in the UFBA Challenge Panel for the upcoming 2026 - 2027 Challenge Season.

This is an exciting opportunity for any UFBA member who is passionate and committed to our UFBA Challenge events. We are looking for someone who can support the UFBA and Challenge Panel to shape, deliver, promote, and develop our Challanges to continue being world-class events for our members.

Ces Pacey, UFBA Challenge Panel Leader says that it is "very rewarding to be part of a team that is so dedicated to providing these highly anticipated events for members. No day is the same, we work hard and have a good laugh... I always enjoy seeing competitors grow and achieve accolades, knowing I helped support them to do that".

Appointment process and timeline:

08/07/25UFBA issues notification of vacancies with background materials and calls for applications from members
08/07/25 - 27/07/25UFBA members with suitable skill sets submit their application forms (and supporting documents if necessary)
27/07/25Applications close
28/07/25UFBA Management shortlists applicants based on the key attributes
28/07/25A shortlist of applicants is provided to the Membership Advisory Panel (MAP) for their consideration and comment. Further inquiry of the applicant may be required by the Challenge Panel Leader and/or Events Team Manager
30/07/25The UFBA CEO appoints the successful Panel Members, on behalf of the Board
30/07/25All unsuccessful applicants are notified 
09/07/25New Appointments announced at National Drivers Challenge Prize Giving - President 

 

Want to be an Official at our UFBA Challenges?

If you are not ready for a Challenge Panel role, how about getting involved with the Challenges for 2026 as an Official?

You may be thinking about winding down from being a competitor and still want to contribute to the challenge and enjoy the camaraderie and atmosphere.

We couldn't run our Challenges without the help of our Officials, and we would love to have you be part of our Officials' team throughout the motu.
