UFBA submits feedback on FENZ Local Planning

FENZ has a legal obligation to conduct local planning in accordance with Section 21 of the Fire and Emergency NZ Act. This has been a requirement since FENZ was established in 2017.

One of the key parts of local planning is the Local Advisory Committees (LACs), which FENZ continues to work on establishing.

The FENZ Local Planning project team consulted with Association & Union leaders on the proposed approach. The project team sent the UFBA a series of questions to answer and provide feedback on to assist their thinking. This work will ultimately result in future resourcing decisions from FENZ.
