Positive Workplace Culture programme – six month report
The membership’s representative on this project is Megan Devine, UFBA Advocacy and Support Advisor. Megan has been representing members views at meetings since the project began in 2019. The early focus of this work was implementing the recommendations from the Coral Shaw Report.
The Positive Workplace Culture programme has been underway since April 2019. The focus of the last six months has been on having the right processes in place for dealing with bullying and harassment and developing a strong new culture where unwanted behaviour doesn’t happen in the first place.
Fire and Emergency says they’re pleased with the progress the Positive Workplace Culture Programme is making and acknowledges that there’s still some way to go.
